You have been awarded a contract for an international development mission and would like to get straight down to business. This you can do by asking us to act as your employer.
We first sign a cooperation agreement with your client, setting out clearly in writing the various arrangements you have made. We sign a contract of employment with you, covering either one or several projects.
We take care of all financial and administrative matters, including invoicing and credit control. We pay you an agreed monthly salary, less payroll tax (PAYE) and national insurance contributions (which we pay on your behalf to the tax authorities).
Not only does this allow you to build up an employment history, it also ensures that you are covered by various forms of insurance, including disability insurance. You do not need to apply for an official statement from the tax authorities confirming your self-employed status.
