Joost de la Rive Box – Chairman

Joost de la Rive Box, Chairman

Joost de la Rive Box was trained as an industrial engineer and development economist, and spent his professional life in development cooperation. As chairman of the association of DGIS experts in the 80’s, he led the initiative for the establishment of Nedworc, the Association and the Foundation. He became the first Director of the Nedworc Foundation in 1986. Ever since,  Joost has worked as Nedworc Consultant, executing short assignments covering over 50 countries in Africa, Asia, Eastern Europe and Latin America.

Ton van der Krabben – Treasurer

Ton van der Krabben, Treasurer

Ton van der Krabben holds a MBA degree from the Maastricht School of Management – focus on the interdependence between management and industrialization topics with special attention for industrializing economies – and a BA degree on Law and Economics. Since 1994 he works as an independent Consultant through Nedworc in the fields of Entrepreneurship Development, Curriculum Development. He designs SME training manuals and entrepreneurship modules for Vocational Schools and Universities, Trainer of Trainers, etc. He is a licensed International CEFE Chief Adviser as well as a CEFE ToT Master Trainer. Since 2005 he is also actively involved in Value Chain Development training. Ton joined the board of the Nedworc Foundation in 2018.
