History

In 1986, the Nedworc Foundation was founded as a non-profit-making foundation by the Nedworc Association with the combined mission to strengthen the expertise and experience of Dutch independent consultants in the field of International Development Cooperation.

Though the Nedworc Foundation and the Nedworc Association continue to cooperate, each organisation has different but complementary objectives. The Nedworc Association aims at sharing knowledge and information amongst its members and has its own website: www.nedworc.org →

The Nedworc Foundation focuses on facilitating a regular employment platform for independent consultants, in a way that guarantees the consultant’s independence and full control over his/her own work and career path.
