Programme Officer

This post is opened in the context of the Junior Professional Officer (JPO) scheme sponsored by the Government of the Netherlands and is addressed exclusively to PEOPLE WITH THE DUTCH NATIONALITY. Maximum age of 32 years as of 31 December of the year of application.

Candidates should have a Master degree or equivalent in economics, public health or similar academic qualification. with minimum 2 years relevant working experience. Candidates with a Bachelor’s degree need to have a minimum of 4 years relevant working experience.

Duties and Resoonsibilities. Reporting to the Adviser, HIV Financing Policy, the JPO will contribute to the development of country-specific sustainability roadmaps, transformation plans and/or domain specific strategies to inform decision-making, ensure impact and build sustainable solutions. He/she will also support the articulation of strong regional and country-by-country overview of efforts, challenges and opportunities for strengthening health and community systems as they move towards progressive integration of the response into domestic systems.
